This is the first step to take if you are thinking about using our Application Check service. Even if you don’t get an Application Check, this eBook has helpful checklists that will assist in preparing your own partner visa application.

Step 1 -  Download Application Checking Starter Pack (Optional, but highly recommended)

You will receive access to the Starter Pack eBook straight to your inbox. The Starter Pack includes all the info you need to know about the Application Check, including: How to provide your documents to us to be checked; how to use our client portal; how the payment process works and what happens once it is done.

Step 2 -  Schedule Your Application Check

When you are ready, you can schedule the date your Application Check will start. Make sure you will have your application fully prepared and ready to upload to Visa Sidekick’s lawyers PRIOR to your scheduled start time. The Application Checks takes around 5 business days from the start date to complete so factor the end date in if you have a deadline you are working to.

Step 3 - Upload your Application & Documents to your Client Portal

You will receive an email with your Client Portal login details 24-48 hours prior to your start time. Upload a copy of your application, as well as all your attachments, to the client portal prior to your Application Checking scheduled start time. Any documents not uploaded may not be included in the Application Check.

Step 4 - Application Check – In Progress

Your Application Check will commence at the scheduled time. You can keep track of its progress in the client portal, under ‘Activities’. Your nominated payment method will be charged when half of the check is completed (usually day 2 or 3) and the balance when the full check is completed (usually day 4 or 5).

Step 5 - Application Check – Completed

You will receive a copy of your Application Checking Report via the Client Portal. You can review the report and then make any amendments or additions you feel necessary before lodging your application with confidence.
